Hearings

The Clarion County Housing Authority is required to conduct annually a public hearing to discuss any changes to the goals, objectives and policies of the agency; and to invite public comment regarding such changes.  Further information will be provided at a later date.

Bids

The Clarion County Redevelopment Authority will receive sealed bids for purchase of  the following properties:  

  1. 6835 Route 36, Leeper, PA 16233 and is identified as Clarion County Tax Assessment  Map Number 10-052-099-000-00, and is more particularly described in a certain deed  from Kurt P. Bauer, II and Suzanne M. Bauer, husband and wife, to Douglas Paul  Frampton, dated May 14, 2012, and recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office of Clarion  County, Pennsylvania on May 23, 2012 at Instrument 2012-002329.  
  2. 6847 Route 36, Leeper, PA 16233 and is identified as Clarion County Tax Assessment  Map Number 10-052-098-000-00, and is more particularly described in a certain deed  from John E. Donahue and Helen L. Donahue, husband and wife, to Douglas Paul  Frampton, dated February 24, 2005, and recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office of  Clarion County, Pennsylvania on February 25, 2005 in Deed Book 663, Page 771.  
  3. 6851 Route 36, Leeper, PA 16233 and is identified as Clarion County Tax Assessment  Map Number 10-052-097-000-00, and is more particularly described in a certain deed  from Andrew D. Mueller to Douglas Paul Frampton, dated December 15, 2010, and  recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office of Clarion County, Pennsylvania on December  16, 2010 in Deed Book 827, Page 41.  

Sealed bids must be identified on the exterior of the envelope as “FARMINGTON  TOWNSHIP PROPERTIES BID” and will be received until May 10, 2024 at 1:00pm prevailing  time, at the offices of the Clarion County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, 8 West Main  Street Clarion, Pennsylvania 16214. Bidders may bid on one or all of the properties. If bidding  on more than one property, each bid must be in a separate envelope. The Redevelopment  Authority may reject any and all bids in their sole discretion. The Properties are being offered  and sold “AS-IS” and are subject to a court-ordered conservatorship under the provisions of the  Abandoned and Blighted Property Conservatorship Act, P.L. 1672, No.135, 68 P.S. §1101 et seq.  (2008)(the “Act”). The proposed sale will be subject to court approval under §1109(b) of the  Act. Subject to court approval, title will be free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, in  accordance with, and subject to the provisions of §1109(c) of the Act.
